Recommend A New Song To An Eldergay

A lot of eldergays don’t have streaming services or access to decent new music.

Post a newer song you would think an eldergay would enjoy.

I will start with the obvious. “Good Luck Babe” by Chapell Roan. It has a great 80s vibe.

This has a bit of a late 90s soft rock vibe.

Beautiful song. This is what Taylor Swift thinks she sounds like in her head

MUNA - The One That Got Away

A song inspired by late 80s / early 90s pop.

Dance II - Discovery Zone

I initially assumed this song was from the 1980s. I had no idea it was only 4 years old.

If you like 70s soul.

“Stay High”

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 7September 7, 2024 5:18 PM

This will probably come out on my Top 10 most repeated on Spotify.

Sexy ass disco song. Should be a hit on the radio.

by Anonymousreply 8September 7, 2024 5:19 PM

I personally like Cannons, they have a retro 80s pop sound that reminds me of my yoof.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 9September 7, 2024 5:19 PM

More retro.

“My God Has A Telephone”.

Very Motown.

This song is Mom & Pop Disco but it’s amazing.

It’s almost like “Copacabana” but cooler.

I loooove this song. It’s very 70s.

Another song I can’t believe isn’t a hit.

I first fell in love with Washed Out from his "Feel It All Around" song that has a 10cc I'm Not in Love vibe. I would check that song out as well, but I love this latest song from Washed Out called "Is It Too Late?" He does haunting, layered vocals.
