That’s interesting because earlier this year there was discussion about Krasinski’s IF which he wrote and produced being an outright ripoff of Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. Like he couldn’t get the rights to it so he just decided to outright rip it off down to character names.

He was probably a cool guy until the success of The Office, where he was considered part of the 'in-crowd'. The guests on that show never spoke well of him, and his popularity skyrocketed. Married Blunt, which had to have further inflated his already large head and ego. Not at all surprising that he's a twat at this point. Unfortunate, but again, hardly surprising.

If the make another film about Richard Nixon he'd be perfect for it, but doubt he'd do it as it wouldn't be good for his 'brand'.

When he was auditioning for "The Office," he says he said loudly in the lobby of the space, "Let's hope they don't fuck this up the way they did 'Coupling'" (another British-to-American sitcom transfer where the British version was highly praised and the American version as a disaster), and he said the showrunners for "The Office" heard him.

Years ago, there was a Reddit thread where people who worked on TV or film crews spilled the tea on actors. A poster who was a crew member on The Office said that John Kraskinski and Jenna Fischer were assholes and hard to deal with on the set.

In a way, I have to give a bit of credit to Kraskinski because he's had some success post Office. Fischer has had flop projects and clings to The Office and did that Office rewatch podcast with Angela Kinsey. It would be fitting Fischer was fully outed as a cunt because many of her Office frau fans worship at her feet and pretty much trash other Office cast members minus Angela Kinsey.
