Trump Strands His Cult in Coachella, Cult Members Blame Anyone But Trump
You'd think these idiots would learn by now. Trump has done this countless times.
Of course, his cult followers are blaming Coachella's mayor, saying there was a deliberate plan to abandon rally attendees because of hatred for Trump.
I love watching these losers and suckers get used up and spit out by that disgusting orange felon.

There are definitely MAGA cult supporters in Coachella Valley and the surrounding areas - high desert and Riverside county. They used to have a pathetic MAGA car parade on Sundays along Hwy 111 for several years - although never more than 20 or 25 cars.
There's a crazy Republican contingent around Palm Desert - one shop owner on Paseo Drive (likened to Rodeo Drive for lack of other comparisons) sells MAGA merch and has signs all the time.
A lot of old white people live in Coachella Valley - it's not surprising that there's going to be some turnout. But they were still coming in from probably 100 mile radius.
What I think is HILARIOUS - is that he's using Coachella festival font to say "Donald Trump takes on Coachella" - as if this was a plot to attract young voters? So laughable. Oh he went to COACHELLA! Nevermind that Coachella festival isn't actually located in the city of Coachella - never has been.

This is where they went - doesn't look like it had much parking available. The city of Coachella is a very spread out depressing little town on the outskirts.
It doesn't surprise me if they had to drive 15-30 minutes to get gas for the buses - there's not much out there.
I'm not surprised it was poorly organized. It was 3 miles from the Coachella Festival grounds - but that's a totally different venue and logistics.
His egotistical ass just wanted to say he played at Coachella to a crowd of fans - like he's Bruno Mars or Beyonce.

Levels of masculinity is another one of their pet issues. Funny that. I looked up where the 3 parking lots were - they were all by Spotlight 29 and Fantasy Springs casinos - Across Highway 10.
Those aren't well-lit roads and no sidewalks. It's 5-6 miles away in the dark.
Plenty of room at those casino parking lots normally - but those places are very crowded on Saturday nights WITHOUT 15,000 Trumpers parking there. That must have caused a nightmare at the casinos.
How much you want to bet they didn't inform the casinos and just used them for the free parking lots?
And get this - they said the ranch opens at noon and people should be there by 2pm. Programming starts at 3pm. Trump didn't finish until 7pm.
It was over 100 degrees (dry heat) out there - little shade and I'm sure not enough toilets for 15,000 people. God these people are IDIOTS.
I looked up where the 3 parking lots were - they were all by Spotlight 29 and Fantasy Springs casinos - Across Highway 10.
I signed up for two tickets with no intention of showing (as did hundreds of gay men in the valley did), so was provided with their instructions, I've attached their three parking venue map for reference.
No, they weren't all on the other side of the 10; there was one that was north west of the venue (Calhoun Ranch), and neither of the other lots were affiliated with the casinos. The two on the north side of the 10 were simply empty lots — not even the venues that have parking for such large event purposes. The Shitler campaign didn't want to pay for real parking where their MAGAts wouldn't have had to wade through inches of sand, stand in direct sunlight with nothing nearby to offer water or even shade, and no way in or out except by bus. The irony is that there are humongous parking structures much closer to the venue (the Larson Courthouse lot which has garage parking for something like 500 vehicles, for instance) but Shitler didn't want to pay and knew that if he made his MAGAts pay (the minimal $8 per day charge) he wouldn't get enough people to fill a phone booth, let alone the small ranch they found to host the event.
They obviously did not plan for this event. The desert is unforgiving and dangerous for the unprepared and inexperienced, let alone the crowd that has to have smoothly paved roads for their Hoverounds, walkers and wheelchairs. The venue is surrounded by vast open fields, crops, and estates that measure in multiple acres. There are stretches of road that go on for miles without sidewalks or even paved shoulders. There isn't a gas station for miles, there's only farm stands and small convenience stores nearby and given that they're all run by immigrants, I doubt they remained open especially in the hours after the rally when the MAGAts would be riled up, angry and full of shit and piss (and have no doubt, the campaign didn't bring in enough port-a-potties, either).
My guess is that they did not tell the bus company that the rally would go as late as it did, the Orange One's campaign did not want to pay the [italic]overtime[/italic] required to run the busses all day long, and the contract with the bus company spelled out that the busses would only run for a limited period of time. And this is assuming that the campaign's check cleared... if the owner of the bus company was smart enough to demand payment up front.
There was no conspiracy here, just typical poor planning by DonOld's campaign... or maybe he's so broke he simply couldn't afford to pay for a better venue, better transportation, or better parking.

In answer to Ron F.’s question at R87, here’s how the NYT sanewashed it:
“Given the medical emergencies, Trump ended the town hall after taking five questions and a few back-and-forth exchanges with Governor Noem. But he closed by emphasizing how important Pennsylvania was to his electoral prospects and repeating his false characterization of Harris’s replacing Biden on the ticket to claim that Democrats are a threat to democracy.”

At least WaPo did a little better with their headline:
“Trump sways and bops to music for 39 minutes in bizarre town-hall episode”
I can’t link the article but it’s actually pretty fucking funny. Here’s a snippet:
After Noem gave Trump the option of closing “with a specific song” or taking “two more fast questions,” he addressed one of his aides: “So Justin, how about a couple really beauties and we’ll sit down and relax.”
It was time to listen to Andrea Bocelli’s “Time to Say Goodbye.” After listening to James Brown, Trump began to speak again, as if remembering that he was still at an event that was billed as a town hall.
“This is the most important election in the history of our country,” Trump said, once again accusing Democrats of weaponizing elections. But then he went back to his music.
“Those two people that went down are patriots and we love them and because of them we ended up with some good music, right?” he asked. “So play ‘YMCA!' Go ahead, let’s go nice and loud!”
“Here we go, everybody,” Noem interjected.
The crowd cheered and danced to the Village People song from the 1970s, which celebrates gay cruising culture.

"Trump surrendering tonight's Q&A to 30 minutes of his fave songs while standing on stage, awkwardly conducting at times, echoes MANY instances of cultic leaders who, exhausted, ill, and at the end of their cognitive rope, outsource their emotional dominance subroutines...
...to canned music they personally find exquisitely sentimental. As traumatized narcissists, they are seeking comfort and avoiding work, but also assume that their core memories of pleasure will make their power and soul transparent and accessible to their followers.
Yes it's weird. No the campaign gives no explanation, because the logic is a sealed system. Believers lose themselves in the choruses. Handlers know there's nothing they can do but keep him propped up. Kristi Noem knows her inner circle status depends on staying bright-eyed.
The leader of the group I was in for 3 years maintained a Trump-campaign-like schedule of daily 2-hour sermons. Over the years he increasingly relied on his DJ to fill the room with emotional overwhelm whenever he gapped out. He was 78 too. He air-conducted the tunes.
He had a shrinking repertoire of melted talking points. But because there was never any substance to his schtick, he didn't struggle to remember details that were slipping away. He just turned to the music. All he had ever done was generated a mood. Then he died of a stroke.
Maybe helpful to keep in mind: for Trump followers the default to pure emotionality can be effective right up until the end. For some the intensity of their bond might increase, because for them as for him, the affect was the point. They weren't there for the platform.
There are people in the crowd who are uncomfortable, or who can recognize the signs, or who get bored and leave early. But for those really caught up, that 30 minutes of music and reverie might feel like the most direct and intimate contact they've ever had with him. /end

THE DANCING AND SWAYING DISPLAY VIGOROUS ATHLETICISM. CONTRAST PRESIDENT TRUMP'S "ENERGY", WITH JOE BIDEN.
JOE BIDEN COULD NEVER BE MAN ENOUGH DANCE TO THE YMCA FOR 30 MINUTES ON A STAGE.

Like a birthday party 🎈 for one of the inmates in the nuthouse and all of the party goers are the staff who have to clean up the food he throws and his soiled diapers.
"Trump standing in front of a screen that says TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING while the speakers blast Nothing Compares 2 U and the people onstage try to pretend like they know what the hell is going on… it was all leading to this"

I never liked or cared for Sinead O'Connor's music....and even I think that's beyond offensive to Sinead O'Connor. Not to mention Prince.

His insistence on playing the music reminds me of that It Takes a Thief where Marilyn McCoo insists that the group add some weird chords to the end of “One Less Bell to Answer” because she’s being extorted by baddies who have kidnapped her brother.
Notice how to Sarah Huckabee and Kristi Noem have to travel with him to rallies to go states away.
It's for protection, R101. Kristi is a better shot than his Secret Service operatives, and Sarah is the muscle. Also a way better shield than the SS.
Tonight, Donald Trump told his supporters to go out and vote on “January 5th”
Wouldn't it be great if they did?

I think it wouldn't be all that hard to convince the MAGAts that the election is November 6th and they don't want to vote early or by mail because their ballot will be stolen and altered by the Democrats. Frankly, all you'd need to do is post something on Truth Salad (with an image of one of their bad bodied butch built bleach blond bimbos).

Voting January 5th means killing the electors or congress people to throw the certification into chaos.

Nothing will deter the cult from seeing the obvious.
“I loved it,” said Jay Bauer, who was in attendance from Montgomery County. “I felt like I was sitting in a room with him. Just him. I could have been here another hour, another two hours. I was just great spending time with the president.”
Bauer’s wife, Janice Bauer, said she expected him to “take more questions,” but her opinion of Trump has not changed. “I thought he would talk longer,” she said. “However, I still will vote for him. I think he’s a very good candidate … the concert was great.”

From the "Trump War Room":
ABC News completely debunks the pathetic lie spread by Kamala and her campaign that President Trump froze on stage at his town hall. As her poll numbers drop, Kamala's lies become even more pathetic.

FYI r28 is a parody account. She has one on the bus incident, and it's equally hilarious:

Why did this theme song come to mind with all the fat Trump supporters being abandoned and walking 2 plus hours in the dark to get back to the parking lot?
