Soup 🍲
Let’s share our favourite recipes, DL.
My standard soup is vichyssoise (bastardised with chicken broth) or curried red lentil and sweet potato with coconut milk.
Does anyone have a good recipe for a creamy chicken soup with the flavour of roast dinner? It would be great to go with the recipe of soup with a dollop of stuffing on top, like a dumpling.

“Roast dinner” flavour?
Ignoring that, why don’t you just create a stock from a roast chicken carcass and do a veloute. Just add some milk or other dairy product. Cook some mixed root vegetables in it, add some chicken meat and finish with some herbs of choice. Thyme is good for that kind of soup.

There's a fair one at the link below. Or you could take the shortcut and open a can of Cream of Chicken Soup.

Use shredded rotisserie chicken in it.

You could make a batch of dressing, and use a metal scoop to drop balls of it into your bowl of soup, but it probably won't hold together.
Here's a suggestion: use a standard recipe for dumplings, but season it with granulated chicken broth, onion powder, and some ground thyme. Dressing flavor in a dumpling!
