Funny that you mentioned Viola Davis, who has worked steadily in big budget things like Peacemaker TV series. I don't think of her as being as off-putting as Cynthia.

She doesn't have much coming up of note except the Wicked movies. Before this, she was in a lot of podcast series and was the lead in other things most people have never heard of. I liked her in Bad Times at El Royale.

She also seems unstable thanks to dropping out of at least a few fundraiser/events at the last minute and other overly sensitive social media reactions to her Harriet movie and some other things.

She has plenty of prettier competition in her age range and background who don't seem unstable or constantly irritated with fans. Ariana DeBose, Zazie Beetz and Keke Palmer to name just a few.
